MAXtech's Pelotonia Charity Tour '24
For 2nd year in a row, the MAXtech cycling team will be riding in the Pelotonia charity bike marathon later this summer.
Last year was a 36-mile ride around New Albany on our way to raising $5,000—but this year, we’re stepping our game up with a 100-mile trek from downtown Columbus to Gambier on Saturday, August 3rd.
All of our team members have been affected by cancer in some way, and the Pelotonia event is a great way to give back to the community and further support cancer research and cure development.
Each member of our riding team has pledged to raise $2,000 by 10/14/2024, for a total of $10,000 in donations.
The MAXtech team would greatly appreciate any amount that you can donate. Every dollar counts in the fight to end cancer. Join our team in spirit and follow the link below to donate.
A word from Pelotonia…
Pelotonia started as an idea. A ride. A weekend. To make a difference. To make an impact.
But we know, Pelotonia was never just about the Ride. It’s always been about setting and achieving an ambitious goal, and raising critical funds to fight a disease that impacts us all. And that’s exactly what we’ll do again this year. And the year after that.
Pelotonia is a community that is passionate about Ending Cancer by accelerating funding for innovative cancer research, as it hosts its signature series of iconic and impactful events with cycling, entertainment, and volunteerism experiences. This year’s events included the iconic Opening Ceremony and Ride Weekend in August, and the second annual Gravel Day event in September.
To date, the Pelotonia community has raised more than $283 million. With support from generous funding partners, Pelotonia directs 100 percent of every dollar raised by participants to cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute, including the Pelotonia Institute for Immuno-Oncology.
